Kinsay bolted into class and quickly made a beeline for the first seat she saw. She didn't even stop to say hello to Professor Varma (an uncharacteristic move). She didn't go to sit with her best friend (an even more uncharacteristic move). She actually didn't go to sit with anyone at all (the most uncharacteristic move all all). Once sat at the workstation, she looked up to find one of the school's owls and though she'd normally try to take it out of it's cage for SNUGGLES or to pet it, she simply gave it sad looks and then slumped onto the work desk, causing the little owl to hop to the side in its little cage.
Everything was terrible. When would the year be over?
