Devin had a healthy respect for the dangers of fire instilled in him from a young age. ”Those are some types of dragons. Did you know that Swedish Short-Snout’s flames are so hot that they’re blue?” Devin took a moment to think about what kind of dragons were his favorite because each breed of dragon was special in its own way, so they were all really cool. ”Antipodean Opaleyes are beautiful. They’re native to New Zealand, but I’ve heard they can sometimes be found in Australia too. Chinese Fireballs are cool too because of the way their flames are shaped.” Just like the one on his shirt! Ash nodded. "Mad respect for fire. It burns down so much stuff, and it hurts a lot, and it looks cool." Like Ash, maybe. "Blue fire. That is impressive." Ooooooh, opaleyes. "I live in Australia. I'll keep an eye out then." Devin sure knew a lot about dragons. "Your dad works with dragons? That's so cool." Her dad was a corporate CEO. It was boring, and they didn't get along. Ash's real family was her bodyguards and her brother. Or her friends. |
