A dark charm? That sounded very cool. She would have to add a "dark charms" entry to her research journal, How to Become A Scary Menace-Witch. She kept it in a hidden spot in the dorms and it was NOT a diary.

Eden's hands clenched as she listened to the professor speak. She couldn't help but be worried about that last part - what if the hoods showed up and they decided to do something like transfigure all the muggleborns into pigs? How long would she have to stay a pig for? Her "LIAR" scar was only just fading. That "verminiate" spell sounded awfully insulting, but maybe she was just being paranoid and they were doing something with lab rats. She forced herself to unclench her hands, but the tension in her posture remained.

She'd been thinking for a moment now. Probably best to answer a question while she still had a human mouth. She thought of a lot of answers, but they all had some kind of remnant of her muggle past - getting a crup through airport security, cruelty-free lab testing, and so forth. Maybe it was worth saying a potentially wrong (*gasp*) answer to get some intel. The first year raised her hand. "Sir, if you needed, say, a flobberworm for a potion, but were all out of flobberworms, could you charm a needle into one? That'd be useful. Or would it change back into a needle and kill you after you drank it?" She assumed the same concept applied to cinnamon buns. Could she transfigure rocks into cinnamon buns and eat them or would she die?
