Dahlia's smiled had most certainly grown when the dog had 'arffed' at her greeting. Whether it was a dog or human (which obviously he had been human) the fact he had replied to her was awesome.

Getting the first question correct kept that smile on her young face. As did hearing what the man had told Kinsay. Could she tag along later and learn that spell too? She made a quick mental note to remind herself to ask about it before she left the classroom today. Getting to have her own little fishie would be lots of fun!

Lia made sure to quickly but neatly take down the information the Professor had mentioned. The first year about a hundred percent sure that she misspelled the name of that spell he had mentioned but... if she was close at all she would be able to look it up later.

Useful? Uhhh... while she could think of lots of reasons to turn someone or something into an animal, she wasn't quite sure the reasoning could be considered 'useful'. Her hand lifted into the air a little more slowly this time. "Maybe for practicing purposes? To make sure that you're able to do so when you need to?" What she had really wanted to say was 'for fun'. Changing into a creature or changing someone else into one (with their permission of course!) sounded like fun. Getting to run about and really see how that creature did things, what better learning experience could you get than that?
