The dog was their professor. And while that made good sense, Kinsay still didn't understand why they weren't allowed to pet him. If she were a dog, she'd want people to pet her. Maybe he didn't like being touched? These were all things she thought about as Professor Carton addressed the class. That and the absence of the hooded figures, for which she was very grateful. It was hard to concentrate when they were around.
As for the question, Kizzy's hand shot up immediately. "Piscifors!" She paused for a single beat. "Professor? Can you teach us how to do it? Professor Peralta said you would." Not in so many words, but the Charms professor did tell Kiz to ask him about it, which was pretty much the same thing.
