It took approximately three seconds, from the moment they entered the classroom, for Nem to reach their limit. Three seconds was all it took to assess the situation, and come to a conclusion they felt both confident and irritated with.
After taking another three seconds - maybe four - to zen, Nem wordlessly headed for a free spot on one of the benches that lined the room, and settled onto it. They dropped their bag onto the floor at their feet, but didn't take anything out of it yet, only leaned their arms on their lap and propped their chin in their hand, staring impassively at the wall across the classroom, and nowhere else.
But if an obstacle course or something similar appeared in order for the dog to start showing off, Nem was out of here. |
