A Poop * k8 * David's mannerisms were familiar to Jessica by now, but she still couldn't help watch him curiously as he finished his lunch. "Sounds delightful, David. Really. Thanks for that. I feel much better about meeting her," she scowled, her tone blank on purpose so he could hear her DRYLY DONE she was with his explanation. "And if you say so. You know I am not one to shy away from conflict........" So, uh. Yeah. She would be on her VERY best behavior for MRS. BUNBURY-TRUEBRIDGE. No conflict starting...no conflict enabling, continuing, or ENDING.
He wasn't finished his lunch. He had wiped his mouth, but here we was, continuing. Jessica had lost her appetite and was packing up her containers. Honestly, she was craving coffee now, and her eyes surveyed the food court for anywhere that sold any. There were plenty of places to get a free cup, but Jessica was in the mood for good coffee, yeah? "It's not necessarily serious. It just means I am probably more nervous than I need to be because it is a new situation that I've never faced before." She reached across the table to take David's free hand. "It'll be fine. I'll be fine." Was she saying it to herself, or to David? Both? Whatever the case, she shot him a smile. "You were in such a good mood. I didn't mean to dispel it." She let go of his hand to stroke the top of the pot her plant was in.
