Some very useful spells that every wizard should know, in order to prove that they do not need muggle machines." Wizards should use muggle machines though. Imagine magic high-resolution quidditch that you could watch from home. Imagine the magical internet. Imagine wizard medecine that didn't have frog slime in it. "Magic is great and all, but wizards should admire muggles instead of feeling all superior and stuff. Muggles have survived without magic for thousands of years, and they made plumbing and the internet and cars and planes and medicine. How can you look down on people doing what it takes to get by simply because it was easier for you? Doesn't make sense."
Fancy boarding school wasn’t all that far from the truth. He wasn’t sure that fancy was how he would describe Hogwarts though. Sure, the castle was nice, but he was fairly certain that a proper posh school wouldn’t be run by criminals and wouldn’t constantly put students in mortal peril. ”Witness protection?” That was not a concept he was familiar with. ”Muggle machines are a bad attempt at replicating magic. Real magic is far superior.” No, that just felt wrong to say. The disgust at having even said that was clear on his face. ”I don’t understand how people can look down on muggles. Muggle technology is quite remarkable, and muggles are people deserving of equal respect and dignity. No one deserves to be treated as inferior, regardless of magical abilities. The same goes for other things people get treated badly for too, like disabilities.” He learned that bit about everyone deserving respect and dignity from his mum. "There's a lot wizards could learn from muggles, too."
