The first year was not sure how he got here.
Everything after he had slapped Miss Song's hand away from the murdered remains of the mama jarvey was all...a blur. He vaguely recalled passing the body over to Professor Williamson, the only person he would trust with her in this entire school, and then he had thrown his arms around Quinn when he had appeared and tried to offer some form of comfort - which the Gryffindor had accepted. There had been some kind of attempt to comfort the other jarveys that had arrived and at some point he had returned the ferret from around his shoulders despite the creature seeming to want to stick with him...and then he was here.
Outside Professor Williamson's hut with puffy red eyes and a trail of tears down his cheeks that was quite prominent considering the dirt that had smeared across his face while in the hedge maze. Maybe the man had even asked Atlas to come by...or maybe this was entirely of his own doing since it had been his intention since arrival that he would pay the professor a visit.
In any case. He was here and had knocked on the door with his limp noodle arms.
