There was certainly something ferret-like digging a little hole under one of the hedges. Just its hindquarters were visible to the girls as they checked around the corner.
Avalon had only peeked around the first corner (using her mirrored forearm, of course), when she heard a slight digging sound. Kneeling down to follow it and squinting closely—it was quite difficult to see clearly with the sunglasses—she saw a little bit of jarvey fur sticking out from one of the hedges. She smiled as tapped the ground in front of it, trying to lure it out.
"Hey little jarvey! Wanna come join us?" Avalon would definitely feel better with at least one jarvey on their side. As of now, the mundane weasel had yet to impress her. Though she had to admit it was adorable. She glanced back at Delilah.
"Any inclination on which way to go?" She had a feeling that they should make a right, but she'd see if the jarvey (or her classmate) had any gut feelings first.
