It was all too much to think about and she needed to get away. Find somewhere that she could just... sit.
A bit of wandering around aimlessly on the grounds and she ended up here. Big bright blue eyes trained upwards at the HUGE treehouse. This was the coolest thing ever and she hadn't even gotten up there yet! Did she want to take the rope ladder up or the tall winding staircase?!
Quinn had been walking around the grounds—he was comfortable enough now that he didn't think anything would snatch him up into the forest, but he was still wary of the Neo-Alliance people—when he noticed the treehouse. Quinn wondered for a moment how such a large structure had gotten in the tree and was able to stay there, but then he remembered he was at magic school. So, magic. Obviously.
Quinn had been looking for a place to do his practice. He had read a couple of books on battle magic, more advanced than even his current year, and he figured that he had enough information to start practicing the basics, but... he wanted to make sure that it was somewhere that wouldn't be easily found. For the sake of himself and those he wanted to invite. If the Headmaster found out that they were practicing offensive spells, he could figure out that it was in preparation for a face-off with his people, if it was ever to happen. Which would be very,
very bad. But the treehouse was huge, and very much out of the way. Quinn thought it might work well.
As Quinn approached the treehouse, he noticed Dahlia standing under it.
"Hi, Dahlia. How's things?" He hadn't talked to her since the night in the common room, and a lot had happened since then. It seemed like a good time to catch up.
