Breath. Just breath, she thought as she walked into the arena for her first Defence Against the Dark arts lesson of the year, her eyes instantly drawn towards the hulking figure of their new Headmaster. Her dark, puffy eyes instantly shot down towards the floor as she walked straight past him towards the other students, her words mumbled in hope that he would simply choose to ignore her and not single her out at all. “Good morning Headmaster Rosier”. Even now, she couldn’t even bring herself to be rude to the new headmaster although this time, it most likely came down to fear.
As she headed over, her eyes did briefly touch the chalk board and for a moment, confusion froze her to the spot as she saw the name of one of her friends (Kinsay) on the chalk board. Did Kinsay usually chatter? Ingrid had certainly never gotten that impression from her fellow second year.
It wasn’t until her eyes moved away from the chalk board and over to her twin though that Ingrid finally moved from the spot she had stood frozen on though, her legs now carrying her within a few feet of her brother. It took all of her might to not sit stand right in front of him and protect him somehow but she knew full well Adam would absolutely hate her for it so instead, she stood closish by, ready to jump in front of him if he said anything stupid again like he did in the Great Hall.
