Violet entered the potions classroom, read the message on the board, and took an apron and pair of safety goggles. As she did so, she heard the teacher repeat the instructions to her and glanced up. David Truebridge--another new potions teacher, the third so far this term. Well, that was fine with her, having different teachers meant they could learn different methods, and Violet wanted to learn as much about potions as possible. Not that Miss Howard hadn't taught her a lot already in her lessons back home, before Violet came to Hogwarts.

Violet was going to greet the new teacher and introduce herself, but that Emmerson and her entourage was clustered around him, gawking at the poor young man, so she decided to just to to a table and set up her supplies by her cauldron.
