And he was right--they needed to wrap this business up. Now that there were others there who were aware of the situation and could report back to someone in case something happened--surely whatever it was couldn't take out all of them at once--she was ready to return to the investigation.

"Yes, let's get going. I'm thinking if we split up, go down both aisles at once, perhaps we can corner it, or at least get a good look at whatever it is." Given the size of the footprints in the broken glass, Jane was wondering if they might have more luck looking up--maybe they could catch a glimpse of it above the shelves.
