Unlike her friend, Irithel was very much enjoying her dinner. Her mouth full of chips, she was about to ask Ashley why she was picking at her food when she said "gross". Huh? What's gross? She swallowed the food in her mouth to speak and immediately regretted it. "UGH. That was DISGUSTING," she scowled. A glance at her fork and plate told her that mould was growing on her food - she must have eaten a large chunk of rotten food. She could swear that her chips were fine just a minute ago ...
But she was not in the right state of mind to think logically about why this was happening. She had to clear the horrible taste from her mouth first. Pinching her nose to block out the odour, she reached for her goblet of milk, only to find mould floating in it too. Oh no, all the beverages must be rotten too! "Can I have some clean water? Anyone?" she asked the people near her, her eyes landing on Prefect Avalon. The older students knew how to conjure water magically, right? Please help this poor kid!!
