So, as soon as possible, she'd apparated to Diagon Alley and made her way to the ice cream parlour, ordering her favourite and finding a seat to sulkily eat it whilst she tried to figure out where she'd gone wrong.

Connor left campus to help take care of Emma and the baby. He called it helping and an obligation, but really, he just adored the kid and kept looking for excuses to come back home. Plus, he should probably see his parents more often, right? That's what normal university kids did.

Not that he was any amount of normal.

On his way home, he decided to make a stop to do a little shopping to surprise everyone. Maybe he could bring some ice cream back?

That's when he spotted Nova. He offered her a little wave. "Taking a break too?" he asked.
