Far away? Honestly? The woman didn’t apparate and she worked in the Ministry. How did she get to work every day then? The Tube? For some reason he found that amusing. ”Where do you live?” he asked turning slowly wondering what was the best place to head off to. Perhaps Piccadilly Square. There was a tube entrance and he was pretty sure he had enough money for them both.
Ilse bit her lip a bit when he asked where she lived, fearing he would be mad that he had agreed to be so chivalrous.
”My flat’s on the far side of Greenwich,” she answered, still giving him the same anxious expression. Then deciding she couldn’t bare to be a burden, she started to take his jacket off.
”Actually, I’m fine, ya know. I’m okay. No need to make all this fuss. That’s just... that’s silly. I don’t want to be any trouble,” she said in voice that said she was clearly anything but fine.
