It was filled with books and parchment, and also a gray sack of chocolate frogs. They were her favorite. Her original plan was to sit at the windows, but the lack of her favorite fuzzy socks altered that. Instead she found an empty chair by the fire. A lot of students were nearby this area, it was the only warm part of the room.

Priorities were to form some alliances with her new housemates. Her eccentric Mother did explain that Slytherin house would be full of likeminded students. Could they all really be that cunning and ambitious as her? Well, she would find out.

She pulled her gray sack of chocolate frogs and placed them on the dark wooden table to her right. The sack made a thump noise and bounced a bit. The enchanted chocolate making moves. On the bag it had her name 'IO CRAFT-BAKER' embroidered on it in emerald green. She was being subtle about introducing herself to everyone. Her shyness was still quite an issue, but she had her ways around it.

She cleared her throat and stated as casually as she could muster, "Please, if anyone would like a frog, go ahead and take one." She started by eating one herself, hoping the others would follow.
