Coby perked up. "That's so cool! I've never been to New York. How was it?" he asked quickly, imagining in his head the pictures he's seen of the famous city. He's always wanted to go, and Emma was born there, but Mum isn't fond of it. Maybe once he's old enough he'll go with friends.

Coby didn't think that September had rolled around quickly at all, and just shrugged in response. In fact, by the end of the holidays, he was quite looking forward to returning. He liked Hogwarts, even if the school sometimes liked to scare the living daylights out of him. Like last year. These thoughts lead him back to Tavie, and he slumps again. He already missed her terribly.
