It was then that she eyed the girl in front of her. Her outfit was interesting...like...skaterGIRLesque. "Your shoes are scuffed, you know. Purposely, probably. How much were they? Did you buy them scuffed?" She had many questions, and she was trying to seem like she wasn't judging when she totally...kind of....was.

Ahem.

The girl was a walking stereotype. Puuuuuhlease.
Qets was much more focused on the lining moving forward and not so much on who was getting in line behind her. So when there was a voice coming from behind her mentioning scuffed shoes she made an overly exaggerated movement in looking down at her sneakers and then over her shoulder at the girl. "Oh, well would you look at that! So they are," she replied in mock surprise as if she didn't already know how her shoes looked.

Who was this girl and why did she care so much about her sneakers? Normally questions didn't bother her at all. There was no denying that she was indeed every bit the skater girl that she looked. Boarding, blading, surfing, dirt biking, that's what she enjoyed and she was good at it. There was something about this girl's questions though that bugged her a little. Maybe it wasn't so much the questions themselves but more the way they were being asked?

Turning around a little to have a better look at the girl, she kept a straight face. "Yes, I had nothing better to do then sit around and purposely scuff up my sneakers." Really? Why did any of this matter? "Expensive." Skate shoes weren't that cheap, at least not really good ones. These ones though, well they were her older more comfortable ones. Letting out a deep sigh now, she answered the final question. "No." Each and every scuff mark was so loving placed onto her shoes as she crash landed onto the pavement or whatever else messed them up. Instant customization. Simple as that.
