Because really. Who wanted to transfer for the beginning of their sixth year? She'd had so much time with all of her peers at Beauxbatons, and truly it was lovely there. All magical craziness and all.
Today, the store of choice was what appeared to be a magical thrift store. Which definitely sounded like a whole lot of fun to her. Entering into the store, she headed directly to the old jewelry section to see if she could find things she could upcycle for herself. Or even if it wasn't something she'd want to wear, some projects to take with her to school or to do on the train probably wasn't too terrible of an idea. She picked up a couple of pieces, examining them closer to determine if she had an idea for them or not. Everest was..scanning the alley for anyone he knew. Basically he was looking for Chloe. He hadn’t seen her all summer, and though she had mentioned going to the US.. surely she couldn’t be there all summer right?
He didn’t know why he was so uneasy when he thought of her lately, but he had gotten a sick feeling in his stomach the moment he had gotten home and it hadn’t left! Not even dancing had managed to take it away.
He was leaning against a bench when he saw Gilly and his blue eyes lit up a bit as he remembered their meeting earlier that summer. He smoothly moved upwards and did a little spin as he headed into the store after her. “Fancy meeting you here. ” He said in his thick Scottish accent, that by rights he shouldn’t have, but he adored his mothers so much he had adopted it and now he was stuck with it.
Besides, girls dug guys with accents! |
