And a hint of nutmeg with a spice to it that could only come from her mother's cooking? It reminded her so much of her hometown that she couldn't help sniffing juuust a bit. Whaaaa?! "I'm sorry - it's no problem. I can help." She set her coffee down and ran a hand through her jet-black hair before glancing around.

Erm.

She knew what she was doing. Totally totally.

"Let me just - " paperwork. Right. "Your name, then, to start. And we can go from there." It was weird to do a request with the person...like, right in front of you. Normally these requests came in on paper and they could handle them without the scrutiny. Jessica gestured for him to follow her to a line of filing cabinets, her wand ready to procure his papers.
