Conley’s path to the drinks table was filled with polite hellos and how-do-you-dos. When he finally reached the table, he realized he never asked the Doctor if he would have liked a non-alcoholic drink. To remedy this, he maneuvered two ginger ales close to a cocktail and after topping one of the ginger ales with a cookie for Sachin, with the triangle method he picked up the drinks and began his dancing weave back towards Sachin.

He made it back in time to hear Sachin ask about the magnifying glass. Good question! Leave it to Sachin to find a way to ask about it in a way that came off as curious and not intrusive. The cookie covered drink was at the tip of the triangle and he held it out to Sachin. ”Doctor,” Merlin, that seemed funny to say. ”Ginger ale? Or cocktail?” he held out the other two glasses for the doctor to choose. ”Are you a botanist?”
