If only it hadn’t been for the deplorable flower! And Alba’s drunken laugh. Okay, now Valentin wasn’t sure if should let her out of his sight, or if he wanted to get out of the greenhouse himself. Still, the handsome man (Ronan) seemed to be as repulsed or perhaps unimpressed? as he was. "So I was distracted by your reaction ... but now ...." Alba turned her back on the corpse flower again, maybe if she wasn't directly looking at it she could keep it together.
"This is not exactly a romantic aroma ..... how are we suppose to flirt when we all smell like a dead body?" Alba was certain that her clothes would trap the scent and it would linger forever, she may even have to throw out her brand new dress she bought for this occasion.
"Dead body's do not attract husbands." Alba's mood was souring the longer the smell lasted.
