Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Ugh. Morgan just knew that when Noble started asking about how to clean up potion spills that they'd end up cleaning that stinky mess at the back of the room. And now they were making what he was sure was a muggle potion since there wasn't any magic working. But he supposed it was better than a theoretical lesson where they had to do a lot of reading and writing.
He was glad that the instructions were on the board because after he used the wooden stick thing to transfer flame to his own burner, he kept forgetting what he was doing. At least the were only a few steps and it wasn't too hard to figure out where he was, even if he had to pause to remember.
Once his potion was finished - and he was pretty sure he had done it correctly, since there were no random ingredients left at his station! - he gave it a stir as instructed. Except... the consistency wasn't quite the moist-looking granules it was supposed to be. It was more like molasses. Oh well.
Morgan eagerly donned the lab coat and goggles, then put on the gloves. "Like mad scientists, amiright?" he said to no one in particular as he watched everyone in their PPE.
.......what were they supposed to be doing again?
