She chuckled at his grumbling, giving a slight shrug. "Maybe a little too hot if you're really hungry." Which he seemed to be, considering. He had a point that it was odd to meet in Diagon Alley as opposed to at school, particularly with being on the same career path. They should have classes together, right? "Honestly, I'm not the most observant of people. Even if we were in the same class I might not have noticed." She smiled sheepishly. She was usually pretty focused on trying to keep up with her notes. Since she was paying for school she wanted to make sure she was going to get the most of it. And she was definitely not a natural brain like her mom. "Seven books now just for the term?!" Merlin's baggy pants. "This is going to be the death of us isn't it?"
She couldn't help but laugh lightly as he shoved the bread top into his mouth, waving his apology away as he spoke. "It's not a problem." She was not easily offended. Naia was just glad he hadn't burned himself again! She laughed again at his joke, giving a slight wink. "Exactly! Everyone else has the accent." Clearly.
Oh! His family was from here? "From London?" Or just the UK? Her dad and Grandda had both been in Ireland growing up. And actually, she couldn't even remember where her mom was originally from. She should probably ask. Oh, he HAD been at Ilvermony! Different houses though, so she wasn't too surprised she didn't recognize him. She was also assuming they were different years, but had not confirmed. "I went Ilvermony for a bit -- Horned Serpent. But I graduated from Hogwarts. House Hufflepuff pride. "I'm Naia, by the way. Naia Amstern."
She couldn't remember if they had actually done that part yet.
