It was no secret that Professor Noble wasn't her biggest fan. What was a secret, however, was how much this upset Nina. She had spent hours crying after the dissection lesson from last term, swearing that she would drop the class (she wouldn't). She didn't know what Eiji saw in him. Maybe he liked Noble because they both had the same grumpy expression on their faces all the time. The last time she had purposefully ruined a potion was all the way back in fourth year! Professor Noble was holding an unfair grudge and Nina was absolutely certain that he had it out to get her. That was clearly the only explanation. She was a fantastic student. So.
And while she normally opted not to verbally greet her professors, she always snuck into the potions classroom wordlessly and without making eye contact. Lowering her head as she stepped inside, she made her way for the back work stations (as per usual), immediately stopping as the stench became more and more apparent. Oh my god. Gag. She plugged her nose, immediately upset that she couldn't cast a bubble-head charm to get rid of the G R O S S smell.
And to make matters even BETTER! Her bag was missing. Must have forgotten it in her previous lesson. Fantastic.
