So if your character is AT the gate first, then they would have to LEAVE and RUN to the greenhouse, etc. We're trying to avoid cloning and have things continue to make sense! (For an example of this, look at sweetpinkpixie's posts.)

Piggybacking off Ro’s post, based on what I’ve read, a few edits may be needed. Students wouldn’t be out strolling in a storm or somehow find themselves there. This is the day everyone is set to go home. If they had plans to leave, they would’ve been at the gate with the main group. The storm the narrator at the gate speaks of is the one heading for the greenhouse and sanctuary so they’d either have seen it from the gate, or not have been going home at all for the Christmas and probably seen it from the castle. Just wanted to straighten that out so we can keep these TLs as straight as possible and less confusing.
