On one hand, she was incredibly distraught because Calyx had made elaborate Christmas plans for them... But there was also some sense of relief in that being stuck in the castle over the holiday would allow for more time spent with her friends before graduation. Graduation, ironically, was yet another one of the reasons Nina Castillo was frustrated.
In any case, the Slytherin was making her way down the corridor with much on her mind. While she wasn't paying much attention to those around her, she wasn't completely oblivious to their presence and did make it a point to give judgmental eyes to the Gryffindor (Noah) who was practically prancing down the hallway. Honestly!? Was no one else concerned?
Noah was PRACTICALLY in his own world as he skipped down the hallway and then he saw HER. A beautiful goddess. Nina, wasn't it? He had heard her speak in a couple of classes and she just seemed so regal. The boy wasn't infatuated or head over heels in love - no, he had a girlfriend who he adored- however, he was in awe of Miss Nina. In awe indeed. He headed over to her and called out. "
Miss Nina!" he cried, waving his hand, excited to see her.
Why was he excited? Was he ready to confess how majestic he thought she was? Or was he about to put his foot in his mouth? Who knew? But he assumed based on how he was feeling- all his thoughts would just fall out.
This time there was no filter to protect him.
