Truth be told, Cora wasn't the biggest fan of Christmas shopping. In her mind, it was just fuel to capitalism and overconsumption. Not to mention she just good at giving gifts; her mind was often stuck on anything potions or alchemy-related and more practical matters, not on seeking out toys or trinkets that'd end up misplaced, broken, or thrown out in the inevitable future. But there she was, back home for the holidays from her semester away at Cairo and wandering past Diagon Alley shops in search of gifts for her family and close friends.

Thankfully this year she had her sister-in-law there to trail along with and rely on. It was genius, really, setting up this shopping date. Hady was drastically better at it than she was, which was bound to work in her favour. With her help, there was no doubt that Cora would be dubbed the cool aunt for a change this year.

"Where to first?" the blonde asked, casting a glance over to the brunette. She, having missed Britain's winter weather not one bit, was eager to be somewhere warm.
