1 blue toadstool Rhibear ~ Madam Solo ~ ❄ Showtunes > Everything ❄ ~ Accio Jedi ~ Gryffinclaw ~ Just a doll Heath was so lost in thought that he didn't notice the professor looking over his notes until he saw the smiley face on his parchment. He looked up, returning the smiley face with a slight smile of his own, though he blinked at the question about the toadstool pairs. Okay, that was a fair question. The problem was he had no idea how to answer it without having to explain where the idea came from and what a force dyad was. That was just asking for trouble! He thought for a minute; then choosing his words very carefully, he said, "They act as a couple. One completes the other, so they're stronger together than they would be alone." Was that an okay answer? Please say it was!
All in all, that didn't go as badly as Heath thought it would. He was actually excited about this crossbreeding project… until he learned they had to have their ideas approved before beginning. Of course. All he ever did was vie for others' approval. Why would this be any different?
Heath had no idea where the lesson was going from here, but he definitely wasn't expecting trampoline toadstools! How did that relate to crossbreeding? Were the trampoline toadstools made by crossbreeding something? Heath was totally lost, but he supposed he didn't have to make sense of it, just go with it. Despite his confusion, he didn't hate the activity concept. The competition between houses, though? No thanks. He already had a feeling he wouldn't be any good at this - this sort of athletic-type activity was more his brother's thing, not his - without having to worry about letting his house down! Hopefully the other Ravenclaws wouldn't be too mad at him if they lost!
Heath packed up his things and set his bag aside. After putting on his gloves and goggles, he went to get a woven pouch. Okay… gloves on, goggles on, pouch in place. Time to do this - and hopefully not fail miserably at it! He hopped onto the nearest toadstool, wobbling slightly. Fortunately, he managed to not fall off and embarrass himself! After steadying himself, he took a small, cautious bounce, and - Nope, not high enough to grab anything! Darn! He tried again, jumping higher. This time he caught something, a small blue toadstool. Hopefuly this wasn't one of the tricky ones!
