Different ideas in toadstools? Teenage girls were confusing and he didn’t know how to keep up. So he was going to ignore it all and focus on teaching. He pulled up a stool at Claudine’s workstation and read over the notes she had already. ”Impressive, Miss Blaze. Would you have all of these things in one? My fear would be sensory overload if so.. How about… we focus on one? Which is your favourite option?”
Claudine had been back to chewing on the end of her quill and zoned out all over again. The result? Rainwater wasn’t noticed until he had spoken. “Oh, hello again, Professor.’’ She said quietly. “Thank you.’’ She peered down at the notes. “I was thinking the same but there are so many possibilities, you know? But I think I have something that I’m leaning towards.’’ Claudine pointed the quill’s tip under the part that spoke of introverts. “No offense, Professor but you extroverts wear us out sometimes.’’ It was a fact about introverts that their social batteries often ran out but she hoped that Rainwater wouldn’t take offense.
Anyway. She’d work to refine her list.
