From general information about toadstools, to a sudden turn into crossbreeding…As usual, it had taken Carys a moment to let her thoughts catch up to the professor. After acknowledging the point she’d been given for her answer earlier in conjunction with Phoebe’s, that is. Crossbreeding was definitely intriguing, just by the virtue of it created new and interesting plants, and she’d found herself doodling sunflowers on the margin of the provided notes, already thinking about possible ideas.

Although, maybe not toadstool crossbreeding ideas, and her doodles gradually had slowed as she switched from flowers to fungi in her mind. Whether or not it had looked like she was focused, which she was, she hardly wanted Professor Rainwater to think she was slacking. Not when it might prove more beneficial for her thoughts about studying the subject in uni if he thought she knew what she was doing. In case recommendations might be necessary by the time next term and uni applications rolled around.

So back to toadstools. Maybe there could still be aspects of sunflowers involved, though, if it was possible. A toadstool that searched for the sun, or something like that…Another person’s idea might be welcome before she got too bogged down with sun ideas. Maybe.
