HOW IN THE NAME OF MERLIN DID PEOPLE KNOW SO MUCH STUFF!? How in the name of Merlin did people know so much stuff about crossbreeding plants? It was like her classmates were walking, talking textbooks! And Flora was just a tad bit jealous.
Her name was Flora. Like flowers.. or something. And the only thing she knew was that toadstools like to grow in places that are damp.
Okay, so maybe she did know a little more than just that, but she hardly knew anything about crossbreeding. It didn't stop her from speaking up when it was her turn, though. "When a mommy plant and a daddy plant love each other.." Professor Rainwater knew where she was going with that, right? "When they decide to have a baby flower, that baby flower looks like both of them."
