Aboli was NOT dumb, but his response to her sure made her feel like she was BEING dumb. And she couldn't understand why she'd be perceived that way other than, AGAIN, she was not as up to speed with Herbology as she would like. "I know what a toadstool looks like - " she said quickly, furrowing her eyebrows. BUT she bit her tongue before....she could catch an attitude because she LIKED Professor Rainwater and he didn't deserve her attitude.

That would be reserved for other people.

She just thought the TOAD THINGS on the stools in the front of the room looked more TOADY than she would have EXPECTED. And now she was confused about if the toads on the stools were the actual plants or...not. She didn't want to say a word. I don't know anything about cross-breeding either.... And the picture on the board looked NOTHING like the toads.....

Ah.

Was it a joke? Whoosh. Aboli didn't get it. Rather, she hadn't gotten it at first. I guess we don't share a sense of humor. Was all she thought as she continued taking notes and being quiet. She even copied down the picture from the board for good measure. Aboli DID want to take her own notes because she felt less useless that way. She wasn't able to fully contribute to the conversation at hand so...might as well scribble scribble.

Maybe she was stupid after all. First I know NOTHING about Kneazles...now I don't even understand a simple joke...Merlin, Aboli, get it TOGETHER WOMAN.

Also, since when was Noah a genius at Herbology? She shot her neighbor a look. Share some of your knowledge, Noah, PLEASE. Aboli knew what cross-breeding was, but she couldn't say it eloquently or give specific examples.
