Claudine side eyed Heath as the Ravenclaw took the seat beside her. Since working with him in DADA to take down that kelpie, she had taken more notice of him. Like her, he was usually quiet but like her, he could come alive when needed to, especially during lessons. She wiggled her fingers at him briefly.
Leave it to Rainwater to make a dramatic entrance. The Snakette stared at him. Did the weather make him more energetic? And yes. She was glad that he wasn’t a toad. Her amusement, as she watched and listened to him, grew until it turned into she was sure she was going to begin laughing. That was why she covered her mouth with her right hand and tried to restrict herself to very soft chuckles. Rainwater was hilarious.
