| we sits wiff yoooooooou astronomizzle ♧ gryffinDORK | & the rest is drag ♣ #badluckDerf Every time it rained on a day with lessons with Professor Rainwater he had to put up with his little sister humming a song about it. By now one would have thought the Slytherin would have had it memorized but he was simply that stubborn on blocking it all out. Today was another one of those, though thankfully Rebecca had simply hummed her way down instead of full on serenading him.
Tucking their shared umbrella away, Eiji relieved himself of his outer coat and moved to find a seat. Of course, that lack of the professor's effervescent self was easily spotted...but whatever respect the Slytherin had for the man was going to go RIGHT out the window if he turned out to be one of those toads on the front desk. Professor Eris running around in Care of Magical Creatures had been more than enough showboating, thanks. He'd rather dwell on the notion that, perhaps, today was a lesson more focused on ecosystems or poisonous plants and their creature counterparts - the red dots causing him to make that association. And the post-lunch slump only got worse when he realised the coolest professor in school was glaringly absent from his desk. He peaked around, looking for him, and instead met eyes with a toad. Slimy.
Kale stared it down. It stared back. And suddenly Kale was stuck in some weird staring contest with a toad. Such is life. Since his people seemed occupied by others, Eiji found himself a spot next to the headmaster's son...and he seriously hoped he did not regret this. Though, from his observations, this Trent seemed less entitled and irritating than his Head of House's son was turning out to be. So, even if his expectations were low...he still had high ones.
Glancing at the younger Gryffindor, the 17-year-old busied himself with getting his things together. No staring contests for him, thanks.
