Yikes, the weather was terrible, though it was not surprising since it was already October. All she wanted after finishing lunch (with a warm mug of jasmine tea) was to have a lesson like Arithmancy in a cosy classroom, but it was time for Herbology. She held her umbrella over her head with both hands as she trudged down to the greenhouses. She had stopped bothering to use the impervius charm on herself every time it rained, instead choosing to dry her wet clothes with her wand. Leaving her umbrella in the bucket outside greenhouse five, she walked inside and looked around as she dried herself magically. She noticed that it was warmer inside … and also that the professor was not there. But he was watching them? Don’t get too close to his friends?? Her eyes fell on the stool with the odd-looking toads. Were these Professor Rainwater’s friends? She chuckled to herself as the first thought that came to mind was, obviously, toadstools.
Moving past the toads on the stool, she stood next to Jillian and waved at her in greeting.
