Despite her consuming a steaming cup of tea before departing the Great Hall, Claudine was still somewhat chilled. Collar turned up to protect her neck from the wind and a transparent, plastic umbrella held above her, she held her bag pressed against her chest as she gingerly eased her way to Greenhouse Five. Luckily, she had no accident of slipping or sliding on the way so she breathed a sigh of relief. The umbrella was closed then joined any others in the bucket.
It was a relief to be in the warmth of the Greenhouse. But where was Professor Rainwater? And what were those poisonous looking toads doing there? Claudine backed away quickly from the stool to make her way to the back of the Greenhouse where she selected a seat. Collar fixed now? Yes, it was. |
