What a dreary afternoon. Avalon usually didn't mind the rain too much, but she couldn't deny that the uncharacteristically dark sky dampened her spirits and made her sleepy. She trudged down to the greenhouses, walking as fast as she could without actually running. Leaving her umbrella in the bucket outside, she entered the greenhouse cautiously. It was unusual for her to be so early to class, but she had finished her lunch early, so she figured she would head down to the greenhouses awhile. Glancing around, she noticed one of her housemates, but Professor Rainwater was nowhere to be seen. "Hey, Ewan!" She gave the Prefect a wave as she made her way into the room.

EW! Avalon cringed as she noticed two disgusting-looking toads sitting on Professor Rainwater's workstation and read the cryptic message on the blackboard. Umm, creepy much? As far as she knew, Professor Rainwater wasn't an animagus. And even if he was, there was no way that his animal form could be so ugly.

Well, he wouldn't have to worry about Avalon getting too close to the toads, because she couldn't be any less interested in them. She would keep a sizable distance from them, thank you very much.
