After the annoying lunch he had sat through with Singh, Valentin needed a distraction. And the only person he could think of who might provide one was Alba. So, here he was walking into the area where she worked like he owned the place. He still didn’t understand why he was drawn to her, but he felt like she was the first person who got him since Michael. The only problem with waltzing in like he owned the place was, he had no idea where Alba’s desk was. He stood there, suit jacket open, one hand in his pants pocket, as if he were trying to show off his vest as he looked around in the room. In the other hand, he was holding a bag.
