Why were they expected to decide what they wanted to do for the rest of their lives at only seventeen anyway? And to the students he knew who graduated early, why would they want to start the rest of their lives a year early? How did they know for certain they were on the right path? How did one decide this?

Fortunately the topic moved to food, the panic and worry from his expression being replaced with a grin. "Has anyone ever told you that you're amazing lately?" Just putting that out there.

He nodded, "Yea, you gotta get up at like four am if you want to catch me and I'm usually crashing by the afternoon."
