Bernie didn't really have an answer as to what was currently in her hair products, because she just used whatever? Whatever was available? Unlike Nina Castillo, she'd never given her hair much thought, just allowing her mum to cut her fringe and give her ends a trim whenever she'd determined she needed it. But was this what most teens, most girls did? Put a lot of time into their hair?!

Bernie decided that she'd give hers more attention, starting... oh, now, she supposed, since she was going to make her own hair product. She was going to make SOMETHING that would turn her hair VERY shiny and irresistible. Yes. As to how she would do that... uh, that's what Professor Rainwater would teach her, yes, yes.
She labeled her two jars, fetched her dried out aloe, gloves on and all that, and came back to her workstation. Time to P U L V E R I Z E, eeheehehee. "Pulveris!" the second year cast, drawing the circle and line quickly as she pointed her wand at the aloe vera leaves on her tray. BOOM! She had aloe dust. Bernie coughed a little at the sudden change but was pleased the spell had worked.
Now she had to decide what else to put in her tubs? Eh? "Professsssssor," the lion popped her hand in the air, "what other stuff should I add to make a shine...." uh, "serum?" A shine serum! That sounded good.
