One book that I read which not just features, but focuses on platonic love is Far from the Tree by Robin Benway. It is about a teenaged girl who was adopted at birth and now tries to look for her biological siblings. There is so much non-romantic love in this book: within the adoptive/foster family, as well as within the newly discovered biological family. It gives all the warm fuzzy feelings! <3
