"Yes," he nodded, extending his arm and holding the form out for the young Slytherin. There wasn't actually a reason to name aside from the fact that it would make this far less confusing for Finneas when grading. "Please sign." Right. Kaiser nodded. He didn't see why he needed to name it at all, probably wouldn't have seen why even if the professor had explained, but he wasn't about to argue over it either. Didn't seem to be much point. If he wasn't fighting the assignment in general, he was hardly going to fight the naming of a fake baby.
Taking the form in his free hand, Kaiser filled it in quickly, thinking up a name on the spot which was ultimately less a name and more simply the word 'baby' in the first language that sprang to mind. Quote:

I, Kaiser, hereby assume all responsibility for this baby. I agree to attend all check-ins with Professor Schmoe and will return the baby upon the end of the assignment.
Sign here: Straightening, Kaiser delivered the form back to Schmoe, along with one more question. "What happens if we fail?" A bad grade, yes, but other than that? At the very least, there would be judgement, he was fairly certain. Kaiser didn't really expect Schmoe to admit that, awkward noodle man though he was, but it was worth asking, in case there was anything else he needed to worry about. |
