Here you go Isla, just need your John Hancock." She added at his own little joke, it was something he had learned about on his trip to America with his mom a couple summers ago. Something about an old dead guy signing an important document .. he forgot some of the details, but not the 'joke'. "Do you want to take her first? Or should I?" He asked ... wait .... "Wait Professor Schmoe do we get like a stroller or buggy or something to cart this baby around with. The castle is huge to have to carry it all the time." It was a legit question ....
"My what?" she asked. Even though she had no idea he was asking for her signature, she knew that was what was needed on their little form. SO regardless, she leaned in anyway and signed her name.

After her name was signed on the paper, she turned toward Blake...
and froze.
"Wait a minute? We don't do this together? I have to...take her off by myself sometimes?" she asked.
That made perfect sense, though. What was she thinking? There was no way she and Blake were going to spend every waking hour together, so they pretty much had to take shifts.
"Right, I uhhh...okay, so how do you want to do this? Each of us taking a day at a time? A week at a time?" she asked. A week at a time might be a little insane. She wasn't even sure she wanted Ellie that much!
It seemed like they were waiting to see if there was anything else they could get, so the first year turned toward the professor and waited.
