Truth be told, Isla was actually somewhat terrified of the older students. She had no idea if Kaiser and Kodee wanted an ickle firstie in their group, but the offer was there, and she was going to take it. Besides, if anymore creatures were going to be dying, she'd rather be surrounded by the older students instead of another ickle.
"Thanks," she said, edging in to her new group.
Just as the group of four was formed, Claudine made her way over to partner up, too.
"Hey, Claudine," she said.
"Thanks! It's me, you, Chloe, Kaider, and Kodee so far." She looked a little closer at the girl. Was she...okay? She looked a little upset. Maybe it had something to do with the dead Jobberknoll? Or maybe Claudine just had allergies?
The first year looked toward the phoenix they'd gathered around. So it was going to do...what? Just burst into flames in a few minutes or something? She scooted away from it a little bit, not wanting to be near it when it kicked the bucket.
