There were still several questions in her head about the presence of the former Beauxbatons professor being here at Hogwarts. Carys knew better than to ask most of them though, and at least she hadn’t ever been afraid of him last term. She just hoped he wasn’t some sort of spy or something. Either way, at least COMC wasn’t canceled like Quidditch had been this term, even if the grounds were still a bit overgrown.

“Bonjour, Professor de Nostradame,” she said, giving him a smile as she arrived inside the circle of seating and took a crate for herself, sending a concerned look toward the cage of birds. There seemed like there’d be enough space on the crate if her sister chose to attend too. Or anyone else who wanted a seat, really. She just hoped the birds were okay.
