“Nice, I’m not too bad either to be fair. I actually just finished my O.W.L’s so I’m actually going into my sixth year” a smug smile on his face for a moment. Not too bad was an understatement but he didn’t need to brag. He knew how good he was. “My best subject is most likely charms or transfiguration but I’m pretty good at potions too” he continued, just catching the raised eye behind the sunglasses. “I’m good thanks, I can brew anything I need at home” which, sounded a little big headed but it was true. As for a gift for his chauffer, he really wasn’t sure. “Have you ever thought about just asking him? Or do you not know him very well?” He really didn’t have any idea what to get his chauffeur as he didn’t know him but sometimes, asking someone what they like never hurts. “What type of things does he like? Maybe brewing him some type of potion? Something a little more personal”.
Ewan was starting his sixth year? Now it was Minjae's turn to feel flustered and he was glad that he was wearing the sunglasses as it would cover the biggest part of the red in his cheeks. This whole time he had thought that Ewan was a fifth year but at least he had not mistaken his own House...
"How did your exams go? Can you give me the answers? I'm sure the questions will be the same next year when i'm taken them" he was totally serious right now. He hated studying. And homework.
"I'm terrible at Transfiguration"' he sighed as Ewan told that it was one of his best subjects.
"It sucks" both his ability and the subject. If Minjae had to be honest, he was disappointed that Ewan dismissed his offer because he would have loved to brew him a memory potion. That did not mean he wasn't going to brew it anyway. Merlin knows when he had to drink one because he had not been paying attention in class.
Asking him? So simple, so brilliant! maybe Ewan really was a Ravenclaw after all.
"But doesn't that destroy the surprise part?" he asked. He thought as he listened to the Prefect. What did he know about his personal chauffeur?
"Well, he's been my family's chauffeur for three years now..." he said. And he knew that he had a wife, no kids and that his name was Mike and that he had dyed his hair brown last week but that was it.
"can muggles have stuff from our world?" he needed to be sure about this.
