He liked her way too much to be aloof and indifferent.....*sigh*

Iclyn leaned into Bastian’s touch just a bit as she felt his hand rest on her cheek, and stroke the scar that was there. She almost wanted to pull back and hide that side of her face from him, but she stayed where she was and smiled softly as he spoke.

”I’m so glad that it was good, how is your Dad and Professor Kennedy? Did they get married yet?” she asked him curiously, unsure if they had or not.. Merlin was she a bad friend cause she didn’t know this? She bit her lip and hoped she wasn’t!

She watched as his hand fell from her cheek and she turned a bit so that her non scarred cheek and non injured hand was facing him more.

”Those are awesome scores! I knew you would do well! I’m so proud of you Bastian!” She gave him a half hug before nearly beaming at him.

”I got O’s in all the ones I took except HOM which was an E!” She was so excited! She had studied so hard for those grades.. hopefully it was enough for a scholarship!

”Eh.. all right I guess, still have the scar and my right hand is sore all the time, and it hurts to use it for long periods of time.” She tried to play it off like she wasn’t cocerned, but that was her writing and drawing hand. So she was very worried
